With the picturesque streets and historic architecture of Savannah as our backdrop, you’ll spend four of your days in our hotel-based studio/classroom. During this hands-on workshop, Andrea will guide you through the process of creating stunning mixed media portrait collages that incorporate elements of Savannah’s rich history and mysticism. You’ll learn innovative techniques for layering paint, collage, and found objects, and discover how to incorporate interesting areas of translucence and light to add depth and dimension to your artwork.

In addition to our art workshop, you’ll have plenty of time to soak up the city’s unique ambiance while we explore the many sights and sounds of historic Savannah. We’ll take you on a tour of some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, from the elegant mansions and lush gardens of the Historic District to the vibrant arts scene and charming local boutiques and galleries.
